We have played in beautiful golf courses in Thailand but this time, our stay in Bangkok is brief, so we have decided to stay near Dong Muang Airport as our next destination is Hua Hin.
Tinidee Hotel offers a great deal including a spacious suite and unlimited golf at the Bangkok Golf Club, which is just 20 minutes away from the airport. Next to it is the Riverdale Golf Course, An 18-hole golf course carved into a valley deep in the delta of the majestic Chao Phraya River.
The Bangkok Golf Club 18-hole championship course, with 6812 yard, is superb to play, both challenging and rewarding. The fairways are impressively maintained and the course includes an island green, and a S shaped par-5 (Hole #9, named as one of the best 500 golf holes in the world by Golf Magazine USA).
We love the night golf at Bangkok Golf Club as the weather is cooler and the lighting is very good. On that day, our golf is interrupted by pouring rain but luckily there are many rest stops throughout the course where we can relax, have a drink and wait it out. In the end, we decide to continue playing in the rain, and it’s quite fun and refreshing as we are soaking wet. Luckily our hotel is just steps away.
The beautiful Bangkok Golf Club
Our suite at the Tinidee Hotel is really comfortable and comes with a living and dining room, bedroom and study, a kitchenette and 2 bathrooms.

We have a wonderful experience golfing at Palm Hills Golf Club & Residence. The fairways are immaculately maintained among beautiful lakes, against a backdrop of mountains. There’s also a nice cafe to relax and enjoy a drink after golf.
Huahin Golf: Banyan Golf
The Banyan Golf Course was established in 2009. It’s a stunning 5-star Championship, 18-hole par 72 golf course, built by Thailand’s number one golf course architect Pirapon Namatra—winner of multiple “Best in Asia” awards for excellence, as well as being awarded Top 3 ‘Best golf courses in Thailand’ for the past decade.
The Golf carts are fitted with the latest Visage GPS technology in multiple languages (English, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Thai), so that’s pretty cool.
I love the modern Thai style clubhouse and its luxurious locker rooms, as well as the Terrace restaurant overlooking the Burmese mountains.
The fairways and greens are perfectly maintained, and the scenery is just stunning. This is one of the nicest golf courses we have played at in Thailand.
They also offer limousine service for pick-up and drop-off at your hotel.
In terms of value, the Bangkok Golf Club is the best – great deals and the night golf is awesome!
Thailand offers the best of golf, with outstanding services and reasonable green fees for the most part. Having caddies is a huge bonus, most are so hard working, knowledgeable and pleasant.
