Seafood in Phu Quoc, Vietnam

This is the best place to go for fresh seafood, on the beach, a few feet away from the sea…

It’s about 10 minutes away by taxi from the Vinpearl Golf resort. When we get there the restaurant is full with locals, which is a very good sign. I have requested for a table by beach, and we are granted our wish, but make sure to book ahead as there are only 2 tables right on the beach. It’s a no-frills place with metal tables and plastic chairs, but the menu is extensive with all combinations of seafood that you can imagine.

We feast on fried clams with crispy garlic and green onions, pan fried fish, grilled squids in fish sauce (Phu Quoc is most famous for its fish sauce), grilled prawns and fresh crab fried rice…

The seafood is fresh and deliciously prepared. A great dinner…

Another tip: make sure to get your taxi WhatsApp number to call him for pick-up after your meal as it’s difficult to find transportation from the restaurant at night.
