Raspberry Ice Cream in a bag

Raspberry Ice Cream in a bag 2

How to make ice cream with only 3 ingredients and your favorite fruit or flavor?

It’s never been easier to make bespoke ice cream without an ice cream maker and without churning, and the process only takes 5 minutes! Here’s how to make delicious and fresh berries ice cream in just a few minutes. It’s recommended to freeze it for couple of hours for a firmer texture!

Ingredients:

3/4 cup of any berries – I used Raspberries

1 cup Heavy Cream

1 cup Whole Milk

1/4 cup Sugar

2 tsp vanilla extract (or natural fruit extract)

Put the above ingredients in a zip block bag (reserve a few berries for decoration later if you wish) – I put my bag over a measuring cup or large cup to make it easier to fill. Gently mix and close the bag tightly.

4 cups of ice

1/2 cup Kosher salt

Put ice cubes and kosher salt in another zip block bag. Put the ingredients bag inside the ice bag, and close tightly. Wrap the ice bag – with the ice cream bag inside – in a kitchen towel (as the ice bag will be very cold), put on oven mittens to protect your hands from the cold, and vigorously shake the bags for 5 minutes or until the ice melts. Voila, the ice cream is ready!  If you like a firmer texture, dispose of the ice bag, and put the ice cream bag in the freezer for 2 hours. Scoop the ice cream into individual bowls, decorate with berries and some mint and cookie if you wish, and serve immediately (or eat the ice cream straight from the bag, it’s that fresh tasting and delicious!).
